RV Port (the end of waiting)
When I arrived in Pima, January 23rd, Jim had been waiting for the delivery and construction of a metal RV port for 79 days. It had been promised in three weeks. The day before I left it was delivered, 23 days after I arrived.
Delivery.
Laying out the pieces.
Unloading and lay out.
Three foot re-bar driven into base of frame.
Hoisting the frame.
More frame goes up.
Final frame up.
The first piece of roof put in place
The worker climbs from the ladder to the shoulder of the work mate to the top of the roof.
He made it onto the first piece.
Each sheet of roof is fastened to each frame.
One side of the roof is up.
Next side going up.
More sheets in place.
The last side is up.
The side is fastened on.
The final piece of trim is fastened on.
Three months after the promised time the RV is sheltered.
