Klondyke, Aravaipa, and Turkey Creek

My first venture in the Ranger

Ranger ready

The Ranger is up on the trailer ready to go.

Climbing toward Klondyke

We steadily climbed toward Klondyke.

Expansive view

Foreground dynasour shaped rock, the valley below.

Bicycles crossing

There were quite few signs warning of bicyles. I remarked, "Are there that many bycyles riding around here?"

Faith and Jim made no response. After awhile I realized the signs were not warning motorist of bicylist crossing like similar signs warn drivers of deer crossings. The signs are to warn that the cattle gaurd is slippery for bicycle tires.

Parked at Klondyke

We parked at Klondyke Elmentary school to take the ranger in to Turkey Creek.

Salaza family church

There are many old structures along the stream.

Bar in Arivaipa valley

A little while later we came to the Bar.
